Wood swivel desk chair are prone to surface nicks, chips and breaks, especially antiques, which are often. Wear disposable plastic gloves. Take the sandpaper 320 grit and sand the wood surface lightly in the direction of the grain.

Coarse sand or raised areas and wood dust with a brush. Fill grooves, cracks or fissures in the wood with wood filler. Glue the raised wooden pieces with wood glue down.  Repair broken wood swivel desk chair legs.Using a 1/8 inch plug to hold the pieces together. Take a round nail wire 2 inches and cut off the end with a hand saw.

Drill a second of an inch in the opposite broken parts. Sand the pin down with sandpaper grain 150 to fit into the hole on the opposite piece.  Press the leg pieces together, hold for a few seconds,. Remove excess glue with a clean cloth before clamping. Leave the clamp in the night, and withdraw the next day.
